The 49th Parliament is now at an end. The House rose on 6th October and was officially dissolved on 20th October. It is expected the new Parliament will sit sometime in December, but this of course depends on how long it takes to form a government after the election on November 26th.

Social Development Partners matters: Results of our recent Publications survey

Many thanks to those who responded to this and gave us your valued feedback.Here’s a summary of what you told us.
- A high level of readership of those who responded for both publication, print and online version, with many passing both publications on to others to read.
- Most are very happy to move to an online version only of both New Dialogue and Law Scene.
- If only online versions are availble, people have asked to be reminded when content is posted.

This hugely endorses the direction we wanted to take.
We’ve already put in place online only versions of both publications—New Dialogue is now replaced by more regular posts on a wider range of topics to our News & Views section and Law Scene has become Legal Update.
You can also sign up for periodic updates for when new material is available and we’re looking at adding RSS feeds to make it even easier to get content right-up-to-the-minute.
Over the next few weeks we’ll be perfecting these changes to make it easy for you to access new content and also to participate in online conversations about issues of concern.
